Balinese Castes. The Balinese Hindu religion necessitates a traditional caste system though it has never been as dissentious as its Indian ancestor. This is mostly due to the fact that over 90% of Balinese belong to the lowest ‘Sudra’ caste, and in India would have been seen as ‘untouchable’. Given their dominance such attitudes in Bali would not be realistic.

Hong Kong probably has the highest concentration of theme parks anywhere in Asia, in its small land mass, tourists can find four theme parks each one with its own character and offering a different kind of an adrenaline rush. Perhaps the most well known is the Hong Kong Disneyland, an amusement park set up by the international Disney franchise that features the world’s most loved cartoon characters. Following closely on its heels is the water amusement park - Ocean World and perhaps the much more eccentrically themed Ngong Ping 360 and the Hong Kong Wetland Park.

The conservatories at Duke Gardens, Somerville, New Jersey will be closing on the 28th May 2008, so if you wish to see them as the owners originally planned them, you just have a few days left before refurbishment changes them forever. There are two conservatories at Duke Gardens, the Orchid Range and the Indoor Display Gardens; but first some history of the garden. Duke Gardens is a 2,700-acre estate and was developed by tobacco magnate James Duke.
